 These are the title blocks I was going to use for my front magazine cover but I ended up using a different one.

 This was going to be my original front cover with the title block 'SWAG' and it was a R'n'B genre magazine. However, my model looked more like a teenage pop singer so I decided to chenge the genre to pop and the title block as it didnt sounded more R'n'B/HipHop.

 This is after I took the background of my front cover image.

First draft of my contents page

This is a first draft of my contents page. It's unconventional that the page numbers of my articles don't go in number order and there's not as many articles as a typical music magazine will have. I will need to improve my contents page by adding more colours to it, add more articles and the page numbers should go in order. I will also need to include a website and I can change the image and add more images to do with the articles.

First Draft Of My Magazine Front Cover

This is the first draft of  my pop magazine front cover that I did using Photoshop and Illustrator. The main colours I used are coral pink, blue, yellow and black with a white background. This is quite unconventional as magazines tend to use three house colours, four is maximum, not five. The coverlines are all over the place, including the central image and the magazine look more like a teenage fashion magazines with all the non music related coverlines. It is unconventional that there will be discount at a retail shop inside a music magazine aswell. I need to make improvements to my coverlines and make them more music related, take the page numbers off the cover as it's all over the place and move the coverlines more to the side so you can see the central image.

Chosen Font In Different Colours

This is the chosen font for my magazine cover and I changed the colours in each one and the background to see how it looks in different colours. I'm going to use the last one for my magazine beause I dont want to over power my magazine with lots of colours and my model is weraing coral pink on the front image.

Title Blocks

These are the main three title blocks that I liked the most that I found online. I got all three of these fonts from 1001 fonts. My magazine is going to be a mainstream pop music magazine thats why I chose bold and funky looking fonts. I like the first font the most becuase it's big, bold and eye catching, by using the first font it will make my magazine stand out from all the rest on the shelves.

Chosen Images for my magazine

These are my chosen images for my magazine, I'm going to use four of these images out of the five chosen above. I'm going to use the first image for the front cover of my magazine because I like the angle and the lighting of the picture. I'm going to use the last image for the double page article, it looks like a CD cover so I'm use it as her albulm and it's called Pure Evil. I'm going to chose two images from the three in the middle for the contents page and anothe picture for the double page article.

Photo Shoot

These are all the pictures I took for my magazine, I'll  pick out my favourite images and most suitable for my front cover, contents page and double page article. I took some of my images with a white tile background so it's more easier for me to edit if I decide to. I took some other pictures with a lift in the background for a modern feel to it and the image below stands out because the light bounces off the lift. In some of my other images, my model is posing with a graffiti background which gives a more urban, musical theme. My artist is represented as a young teen singer who is sweet and innocent. This is how I wanted to represent my artist that's why she's not wearing provocative clothing. However, the images of my model wearing a checkered shirt represents her more like a r'n'b singer and seems like she's confident and loud.
