Manipulated photos

I have experimented with different coulours and and editing to use on my photographs. I mainly edited my fron magazine cover image to test these techniques out.
On this imageI blured the colours and made it look fuzzy and a bit old fashioned. I don't really like this editing because it does'nt go with the genre of my magazine.

I made this image black and white but I rubbed out the black and white effect on the models face and dress so we could see the true colours. also, as its a pop music magazine the colours need to be bright and vibrant.

On this image I made the lips and dress more brighter and I made the eyebrows and hair darker so the pink doesnt over power the face. I dyed the whole image in pink several times and rubbed out everything back to its normal colour apart from the dress and lips. After making the lips and dress brighter I though that it over powered the face so I thought I should make the hair and eyebrows darker so, I dyed the picture to black several times and rubbed out everything apart from the hair and eyebrows.

This picture has a vintage look, I think it looks really good as it makes her face stand out but it doesnt suit my magazine.

I was just experimenting with this picture to see how to change the background.

On this picture everything is black and white apart from the face as I rubbed out the face so you can see the original face colour and so it stands out.
