Planning a Music Magazine

The target audience for my magazine is young females aged 12-16 year olds, this is because some of the people I surveyed were in that age range. The genre of the magazine will be Pop and the time of music used will be the latest and up to date. I’m going to include R'n'B singers in my magazine too because it will appeal to a range of music tastes as well. Singers who sing Pop and R'n'B genres songs are quite very similar in some ways and people who listen to Pop music tend to listen to R'n'B too.

My magazine will come out ever week because the majority of people that I surveyed said they like it when magazines are published every week. My music magazine will cost £1.50 as my target audience are students and they won’t be able to afford a really expensive magazine. The price £1.50 is quite cheap as the magazine will be published weekly. Also, if the magazine is cheap to begin with and the target audience like the magazine then after I can increase the price to earn more profit. I want my magazine to be glossy because as it makes the magazine more attractive and it stays in a better condition than magazine without glossy covers.
